do like me, open up take the battery off… take it too a whatch fixer and tell him you need another batery just like the one you ripped of the cartridge and place it on your game again…

to me it worked, i had to fix my pokemon blue

I wasn’t implying that it was rare, I was hinting to the fact that Nintendo itself could care less, thus you could not send it to Nintendo.

I never said you said it was. The topic creator said he wanted a new one but it was rare. My point is that it isn’t. <_<

my Metroid Zero Mission save battery died. which sucks, but your saying i can get it replaced? this is good news. i have taken the cartridge apart and the batery is sealed to the chip. is there a safe way to get it off, and will it work with a new batery that isnt sealed afterwards?

heh for that one, you need to be creative. unless you have the special tool to unscrew it, you have to use something like a small angular philips or screw driver.

come to think of it, this isnt the only problem with my MZM cartridge. it freezes if you adjust the cartridge while in use. sometimes it gets loose and i try to push it back in a tad, and it freezes. :[ and sometimes, the game will just crash at a random moment.
