Has anyone else here don the “Great shinespark climb” in Metroid Fusion and seen the bonus movie?.

I have, it’s not really worth it and it makes the game harder.

What is Shinesparking, I read through the site and I don’t get it? :confused:

Shinesparking is when you have Samus instantly stop moving while you are using speed booster by pushing down, and then by pushing A plus whatever direction you want to go, Samus will start flying in that direction.

If you want to try it yourself, play Metroid Fusion, Metroid Zero Mission, or Super Metroid.

I’ve tried this once, but could never do it. I got close, but eventually I gave up.

I have an emulator save file halfway up, after i did it the first time i couldn’t do it again.
