It would be cool if the beginning takes place at the end of it’s prequal (spell?). Maybe Samus triggered some explosion somehow and some Phason caves were collapsing and some phason fell and she had to get out fast so thats why she runs away. That would explain why phason would (just magically) be falling.

A better name might be something like Metroid:Corruption or something. Metroid:Phazon Lord, Metroid:Phazon Genesis, Metroid… oh heck, you get the point.

Hey… That’s kind of cruel… my 3-part fangame series (I believe I started it in 2002 or 2003) uses a Dark Samus and X-Parasite fusion.
