Or, I guess, if you want, Plasma SMG. Shoots faster than the Plasma rifle, and takes longer to overheat, but does less damage.
Whatever, those two sound like epic (balanced) win to me.
The Plasma BR would work, but we want the weapon to be completely new and original (except for the model).
