In a competition on The Escapist (my third home, this being my second) people are voting on their favorite out of 32 franchises. It’s only in the first round, but Metroid is losing to Team Fortress. Team fucking Fortress. There’s no way Super Metroid and Fusion and the Prime trilogy and all the others can lose to an online shooter and a Half-Life mod (not that Team Fortress isn’t good, it just isn’t anywhere near the Metroid franchise).
