you had to write a program on paper? that’s fucking retarded… you don’t have the debug tools which, without, you are basically screwed unless you have perfect syntax… and nobody’s perfect.

all our C++ midterms and the final had code sections… they grade you on knowing what the fuck you’re doing, not forgetting semicolons

I had to code on paper in Computer Science I (I think it should have been titled Basic Java for Dummies). I’m good at it.
I easily had the highest score in my Calculus II class all semester (the highest score on every test but two; one by one point, and one by 9, but I beat that girl by about the same amount on the previous test) and still got a B. Stupid grading.
