Aww, no MIDIs this month . I was considering trying one, but neh-vur miyendddd.
To be honest, I’m not sure how the programming (and visual integration) for a grapple beam would work - never really tried anything like it in 2D. The simplest way would probably be to use a bunch of “energy ball” sprites overlapping eachother along the path of the beam, but I’m assuming that lame technique wouldn’t be so well supported xP. Harummm…
hopefully someone can pull off the 4 prong spin

It’s pretty phazon, but it doesn’t animate quite so pretty. …it’s not intended to animate, is it?

Meh, it’s alright. Although it could use a more defined shape? Right now it sort of looks like a flat, blobby, icicle-shaped thingy.

CMC, try shading it a little more like this. Yours looks slightly like dark water.
Phazon looks great except the bottom left four look copied and slightly edited.

IMO the Phazon looks a bit dark. Try giving it a lighter palette. Other than that, it’s okay.
Although it would be nice if you added some tiles with little Phazon crystals sticking out (if you know what I’m talking about).

Try to create a texture instead of over-using the colors or the dither.
im better at small sprites anyway xD
once they get any kind of girth to them i fail xDDD
fixed a small problem
and added another corner type
as well as how the phazon tiles are used
(mostly cuz i like how it looks)
