For once, I agree with Syntax Man. Bruce Almighty was good, and they’re running out of idiotic sequel ideas (why can’t we have any good original movies nowadays? 
) so they’re reverting to a 50 billion year old movie to make a sequel completely unrelated and dissimilar to the original, except in the ways in which it is an exact copy for the sake of attracting fans of the first movie.

It’s the idea behind it that pisses me off, not the actual quality. I’m probably gonna end up seeing it, and I might even like it, but it angers me that every movie released in the past few months that’s been at all popular has been a sequel to something. Shrek 3, Pirates of the Carribean 3, Spiderman 3…

eh… i went to go see it. it wasn’t very good. i dunno, you go see it and tell me, but thats what i thought…
i didn’t like shrek 3 much either, and pirates 3 wasn’t as good as the first.
i did enjoy spiderman 3 though.
