No, annihilator does much more that that, or at least, in the multiplayer. Also, it has rapid fire too.

No, I just tested. Each single shot does 4 damage.
How is that? I’m always able to beat somebody really fast with annilihalator, without charging or anything.
And this is kinda offtopic, but I was wondering if charged combos can be done in multiplayer mode.
