Yea those are metroids that have ‘evolved’. Alphas, Betas, Zetas, etc., and Finally the Queen.
anyway… how many metroids must you kill in metroid 2?

Well, provided This site is correct, then it’s 39, but to be honest, I’m fairly sure that there’s more than that… Once again, I’ll go check.

I’m gonna say about 19-20, if you count one leg joint as two lights (one for each side). Same goes with shoulders.
