I received the following comments from a Pixelation forum member:

Do you have a uniform style for example? Every world should fit into itself, though separate worlds can then be different again. I don’t know much about metroid prime 1 as not much was released, but Metroid Hunters and Metroid Prime 3 were both developed by platforms, with an artist designing gameplay and visually a world, and his ‘underlings’ making most of it in production. Then all the artists were devided in one group per world, with 1 lead in a group who’s job was to maintain internal art style consistency.

Also, do you consider palette’s and colour limits in any way? They do not necessaril have to be limited to any extent, but it is generally a good thing to keep up the colours of an area, so when new objects for it are made, the artist can see which colours are on the background; and so which colours the new sprite needs to has to stand out, or to not stand out, depending on the goal.

I personally believe that they have a lot of merit, and maybe we should do something to this extent.
