If you’ve played Dissidia, think Emperor’s Lightning Crest. If not, uh… check Youtube, it’s a staple of Empy’s moveset so any video should show you what I’m talking about.
how about plasma mine? it latches on to you but you remain unaware, it explodes after a set time.
How is that different from the plasma 'nades?

the user sets it in the ground where it remains inactive, but if someone steps over it it latches onto the victim. grenades explode no matter what once you throw them.

Daaaaamn, Dissidia looks fun.
But, which one’s lightning crest again?
Emperor makes a big “spiderweb” of electricity.
It has two forms–one that lays on the ground, acting as a shock trap that imprisons and damages the enemy if they walk over it, and one that spreads out in midair and then shoots a hail of bullets at anyone that goes near it.
I’m not sure which one’s actually Lightning Crest (the other is “Snow Crest” IIRC) but either one could be fun in Halo style. :3
I’ve playing Dissidia for while and I think the Emperor’s Lighting Crest would be AWESOME!!!
…but it’s kinda cheap…if you’re gonna put it in Halo you shouldn’t make it do too much damage…
