I hated U-Mos; it would have been nicer to actually hear Samus’s voice.
MP2 still had a sweet ending though.
You can hear her voice when you die and get hurt and fall from high places.
I am gonna have to say my fav was either super metroid or metroid fusion … Cant beat the original platform metroids. Although I do like prime alot … and echoes was good too, but nothing like prime.
But now that I think of it, Fusion just had a feel to it that made me shiver every time I turned on my GBA and heard that title music …

I’d always get the chills evry time the sax first shows up and it does a close up of her and that freeky music. 
He means speaking. samus has never spoken in-game.
Then again, Nintendo is too stubborn to get actual talking voice acting. Look at Zelda, for example.
Every time someone talks in zelda, they always make some sort of strange noise.
