Small news, the demo is going great, but I have had very limmited
time to work on it latley, with Christmas coming and all.

can you upload the newest mission demo again? or PM me that old demo, i want to “feel” the game…

Links broken? I’ll host a mirror as soon as I can. The only reason i removed the
old demo was because it was bad. It’s loaded with glitches and random bugs.

It’s going to take forever to upload another mission beta build.
I have so many versions on my computer I can’t tell which one
is the latest… So you might have to wait until I get all these organised.

I stick to the right side. It works better for me ince there’s more room, and I am better with the machine gun,although I hardly use it.

UPDATE:
Very beta trailer has been released. There are tons of things you might find
wrong with it, but this is only because not much work is done on the level
right now.

Training Beta Video

Keep the pace, the game looks good, and don’t give up, Doukutsu Monogatari (Cave story) had taken 5 years to complete, only one guy made everthing, and is the most addicting game i ever played, it will be even released to PSP, so… DON’T GIVE UP ^_^V

That looks like a pretty good video, but make sure the screen scrolls along fast enough, because I noticed the player was almost off the screen in some parts.

the walking animation is very bad, much of the time it looks like it was just the standing sprite moving and jumping around. are your jumping and walking sprites like 2 frames dude?

you need to work on the animation of the player A LOT.

Animations have been fixed up… a lot. Say good-bye to cheesy
4 frame animations! That’s not all, the demo I have been working on
“Training Mission” has been delayed. It’s taking much longer than I had
previously expected, so just to help you guys with waiting, me and
a few friends are making another Project Dread installment. Expect
to see Project Dread: Assault out soon, this demo includes all new
playable characters, weapons, and more exiting actoin packed missions
to keep everyone busy until the Training Demo is released.

The only downfall is the new sprites will not be used in the Training Demo,
because it would require me to change almost everything I have done so far…
Well, be sure to check up for more updates, screens, and progress
on the game.

also, on your video, your elevator looked kinda bad (framing down rather than kinda gliding down), you should be able to use the draw function to fix it.

Well, all the files are hosted on our (Me and Dragon’s) site.
Since I am kind of lazy, I will just copy and paste the post on our forum over, but with a a couple fixes to the links.
It includes each demo, and you get to download the demo’s directly, without going through pages where you have to wait, enter codes, have ads, or bandwidth problems.

About the game, I am having trouble working on it. It seems like it’s almost too
big for only 1 person to handle, and from what I can see nobody has any experience with TGf or CNC, and I need programmers. What I am saying is
I am looking for people who would be interested in joining the team and helping with the project.

-Bumpage with a Minor Update-

School has been really slowing down progress with the game. I am
also thinking hard about completly remaking the engine. As I have
been working on this game I have learned many things. The current engine
seems to be outdated and programmed very wierd, and with my new knowledge
I can remake it into something I can work much more easily with.

I am still accepting people to help with the game if anyone is interested.
